Miss Nic's Doo Gro Challenge

Hello loves!! I just wanted to tell you guys about some of the products that I've purchased on last month. My aunt suggested that I try it. I never really thought that I would ever use products that promote major hair growth because I've always had a head full of hair. However on New Years Day at our family New Years Dinner we were all discussing hair, hair products, and hair extensions. It's just something that we girls get into after we've gotten full and talked and listened about everyone's work problems. My Aunt and Cousin said that they once experienced a lot of breakage from braids that they were wearing in their hair. My Aunt then explained that she used Doo Gro products and they helped her hair grow back. So I was like hmm okay. So later that month when I made a unplanned trip to Sally's I decided to try a new dandruff shampoo..because I have an itchy scalp. So I've been using the product since January 15, 2010 and I must say that it actually works! My hair has grown and I'm shocked. My sister even noticed it! My hair wasn't extremely shout but I cut into layers in November. It fell right at my shoulder. It's now below my collar bone. I wasn't really trying to grow my hair like I'm on a mission to grow my hair down my back or below my shoulder before summer..It's the product and it works. By the way..The dandruff shampoo (tingling growth shampoo) is FAB and it only cost 5 bucks!! So This past weekend I made a trip to my newly found favorite BSS on the south side of Atlanta and I purchased the Moisturizing Shampoo and the Conditioner. Since it is growing I may as well grow it back out. Why not?? Let's see if I can get my hair back to the original length in the picture above!! So I've been shampooing my hair with the dandruff shampoo every week since January 15th and I love it. I don't have that retched itchy scalp in the middle of the week. I love it!!

These products contain Herbal ingredients which are great. One of the ingredients that stood out to me that was amazing was Cherry bark. My mother who is a Master Cosmetologist as well as Physical Education Teacher is a health food junkie and herbs are her specialty. I'm from the country and in the back yard we had a cherry tree and my mother would take the bark from the tree in the fall right before it gets too cold and boil it in water and make tea for us to fight colds and things. Sounds crazy but it works. So I was amazed when I saw that it was part of the ingredients along with other recognizable ingredients.  Check out the products that I'm using along with the length of my hair after I cut it and a picture I took the other day. I'm going to keep you guys posted on the progress. I'm going to do a check point around the end of the March to show progress. By that time time it would have maybe used the whole bottle and it would be exactly three months of growth.I may even post before then.

I took this picture yesterday..As you can see..My hair is 1 inch below my collar bone..which if my memory serves me correct my hair before I got it cut was just at my collar bone..Soo..since my hair cut in November my hair has grown. Which is great. I need to lay off the fries and fried foods.. Giggles it may grow even faster!
