My 2018 Blog + Brand Goals
This is my 8th year blogging and sharing my inner thoughts with complete strangers that I now deem to be friends all across the world. I've enjoyed this journey and I honestly don't foresee it ending anytime soon. Sorry. I've officially declared this year to be my Cardi Year. I'm putting it all on the line and going for the goal.
Since this is my 8th year, my year for New Beginnings. I decided to share my goals for my brand/blog XO Kelly Nicole.
1. Consistency. I think this is my biggest downfall. Not being consistent with posting. I have ideas and posts in my notes that need to be published as I create this post. These are posts from a year ago. I had a lot of changes to happen over the past year that interfered and created some doubt in this area, which is why 2017 may be the lowest year for posting online. The goal is to be consistent period. No excuses. I have my ideas ( I need to finalize them), I just need to type them out.
2. More Video Content. I started my Youtube channel in conjunction with my blog 8 years ago. I need to/want to add new content. They go hand in hand.
3. Expand my content beyond beauty. I want XO Kelly Nicole to be a place for more than just beauty content. Beauty will continue to be the main focus, but there's so much that I want to share with the world. I will no longer limit myself. Wait. for. it.
4. Grow my Social Platforms. I've managed to authentically grow my facebook and Instagram pages, I've played around with the idea that I'm not concerned with the numbers, but let's face it, the numbers matter. I want/need more followers to share my content with. Not to be selfish or greedy, but to be honest. It matters.
5. Grow my mailing list. This goes hand in hand with number 4. I need to start sending more content to my mail list and grow it further.
Now I have two more goals that I will continue to pray about it before I share it. I believe they're attainable goals, but it will come when the five goals I have listed above are in full motion. What are your branding + blogging goals for the new year?
