#Datenight at Gino's East Atlanta

My boyfriend and I were invited to preview the new Gino’s East Atlanta Restaurant on yesterday after winning their social media contest. We were the number one picks. How cool is that? We had the opportunity to order from their menu, and enjoy as tasty Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. My Boyfriend is from Chicago, so he loves his Italian Beef, Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, and his wings with the Mild Sauce. I have grown to love the taste of Chicago as a result of him always wanting to eat it since we are in the south. I am excited for him to eat his favorite foods, even though he’s away from home, Atlanta does have options for him to always have home town food.

I’ve had my share of Deep Dish Pizza, but I must say that Gino’s was one of my favorites. We ordered the Meaty Legend Deep Dish Pizza. It was tasty and filling to say the least. I can honestly only handle one slice of Deep Dish Pizza. What I noticed and loved compared to other Deep Dish Pizza’s was the crust. The crust on the pizza wasn’t too doughy, meaning it wasn’t a lot of bread in the crust. It was more of a corn meal type of crust, but not “cornbreadish” (if that makes since). There wasn’t a lot of topping on the pizza, meaning it wasn’t too thick. I felt guiltless eating this pizza because of how it was made. This made it a favorite for me compared to others, because I do like to watch what I eat,,,while making a point to enjoy good food…without the guilt trip all the time.

I would honestly recommend Gino’s as a great spot for a date night and a place to hangout and eat with friends. The atmosphere was fun and gave the up north Pizza Parlor vibe with a touch of fine dining. How many pizza parlors offer roasted brussel spouts and humus on their menu? Not many. If you want a great experience and great food, try Gino’s.
